A leading automotive company in Qatar is seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join its body repair and refinishing team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in vehicle painting, surface preparation, and automotive refinishing who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

The successful candidate will restore vehicle body panels to manufacturer-quality standards through proper surface preparation, precise paint application, and flawless finishing techniques.

About This Role

As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces, mixing and applying automotive paints, polishing finished surfaces, and ensuring every repaired vehicle meets the highest quality standards. You will work closely with dent repair technicians and body shop teams to complete vehicle restoration projects efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

🎨 Vehicle Painting & Refinishing

✅ Inspect damaged vehicle surfaces and determine painting requirements.

✅ Prepare vehicles for painting through sanding, masking, priming, and surface cleaning.

✅ Apply automotive primers, base coats, and clear coats using spray equipment.

✅ Ensure smooth, even, and defect-free paint finishes.

🔧 Surface Preparation

✅ Repair minor surface imperfections using body fillers where required.

✅ Sand and level repaired panels before painting.

✅ Match paint colors accurately to manufacturer specifications.

✨ Finishing & Quality Control

✅ Perform polishing, buffing, and final detailing after paint application.

✅ Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality finishing.

✅ Correct any paint defects before vehicle delivery.

🛠 Equipment & Workshop Maintenance

✅ Maintain spray guns, painting booths, and workshop equipment.

✅ Ensure tools are cleaned and stored properly after use.

✅ Follow workplace safety procedures when handling paints, thinners, and chemicals.

🤝 Team Collaboration

✅ Work closely with denters, body repair technicians, and workshop supervisors.

✅ Complete assigned jobs within scheduled timelines.

✅ Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.

Minimum Requirements

🎓 Education

• High School education or Diploma is preferred but not mandatory.

💼 Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive painting or vehicle refinishing.
• Experience working in automotive body shops, dealerships, or collision repair centers is preferred.
• Experience with modern automotive paint systems and spray-painting techniques is an advantage.
