St. Regis Doha is hiring a Food & Beverage Team Leader to support the daily operations of its luxury restaurants and dining outlets. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who have experience leading restaurant teams, maintaining exceptional service standards, and ensuring guests enjoy a seamless dining experience.

The successful candidate will supervise daily restaurant operations, coordinate service staff, maintain quality standards, and support management in delivering world-class hospitality.

About This Role

As a Food & Beverage Team Leader, you will oversee restaurant floor operations, guide team members during service, ensure guests receive outstanding hospitality, and help maintain operational efficiency. You will also support management with staff coaching, shift coordination, workplace safety, and maintaining Marriott's luxury service standards.

Key Responsibilities

🍽️ Restaurant Operations

✅ Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service delivery.

✅ Complete opening and closing procedures, including preparing workstations and equipment.

✅ Monitor dining areas to maintain cleanliness, guest comfort, and service quality.

✅ Ensure restaurant facilities and equipment are maintained and report maintenance requirements promptly.

👥 Team Leadership

✅ Support managers in supervising, motivating, and coaching restaurant staff.

✅ Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and on-the-job training.

✅ Lead by example to maintain high hospitality and service standards.

✅ Foster teamwork and ensure effective communication among employees.

🌟 Guest Experience

✅ Welcome guests and deliver exceptional customer service.

✅ Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

✅ Ensure guests receive efficient, professional, and personalized service.

✅ Handle service recovery situations professionally when required.

📋 Safety & Compliance

✅ Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

✅ Follow company health, safety, and security procedures.

✅ Report incidents, accidents, and workplace hazards according to company policies.

✅ Ensure all team members comply with Marriott operational standards.

📊 Operational Support

✅ Maintain accurate shift records and operational documentation.

✅ Assist management in monitoring service quality and operational performance.

✅ Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

🎓 Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

💼 Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Food & Beverage, Restaurant Operations, or Hospitality.
  • Previous experience in luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, or international hospitality brands is an advantage.
  • Team leadership or senior waiter experience is beneficial.
