St. Regis Doha is hiring an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of its luxury dining outlets. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals with strong leadership abilities, exceptional guest service skills, and previous experience in high-end restaurants or luxury hotels.

Candidates with 5-star Italian restaurant experience will have a strong advantage.

About This Role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, supervising service teams, maintaining exceptional dining standards, and ensuring guests receive a memorable luxury dining experience.

You will also assist with team development, operational planning, guest satisfaction, and achieving departmental performance goals while maintaining the highest hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

🍽️ Restaurant Operations

✅ Support the daily operation of the restaurant, bar, and room service areas.

✅ Supervise restaurant shifts and ensure smooth service throughout operating hours.

✅ Assist with opening and closing procedures.

✅ Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and sanitation requirements are consistently maintained.

👥 Team Leadership

✅ Supervise and motivate restaurant team members.

✅ Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing feedback to employees.

✅ Support staff training and development initiatives.

✅ Monitor employee performance and maintain service excellence.

🌟 Guest Experience

✅ Welcome and interact with guests to ensure exceptional dining experiences.

✅ Handle guest concerns and resolve complaints professionally.

✅ Gather guest feedback and implement service improvements.

✅ Lead by example in delivering luxury customer service.

📊 Operational Performance

✅ Assist in achieving departmental service and financial objectives.

✅ Monitor staffing levels during busy service periods.

✅ Coordinate with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager regarding food quality and operational matters.

✅ Support inventory control and operational efficiency.

📋 Compliance & Quality

✅ Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

✅ Monitor responsible alcohol service in accordance with local regulations.

✅ Ensure restaurant policies and Marriott operational procedures are followed.

Minimum Requirements

🎓 Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

OR

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

💼 Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of Food & Beverage or hospitality experience with a High School qualification.

OR

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a Hospitality-related Diploma or Degree.
  • Previous supervisory experience in luxury restaurants or hotels is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a 5-star Italian restaurant is strongly preferred.
