A leading professional services firm in Qatar is seeking an experienced Head of Specialized Advisory Services (SAS) to lead its advisory division and drive business growth across accounting outsourcing, business advisory, corporate compliance, company formation, and restructuring services. This senior leadership role is ideal for experienced accounting and advisory professionals with a strong commercial mindset and an established network within the Qatari market.

The successful candidate will oversee client engagements, develop new service offerings, lead multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the firm's strategic growth while maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence.

About This Role

As the Head of Specialized Advisory Services, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of advisory and professional services, including outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, business support, company incorporations, corporate compliance, and insolvency-related engagements. You will lead strategic initiatives, mentor advisory teams, build long-term client relationships, and identify new business opportunities across multiple industries.

This role combines executive leadership, client advisory, business development, and operational management, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals with extensive consulting and financial advisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

📈 Strategic Leadership

✅ Lead and develop the Specialized Advisory Services department.

✅ Establish departmental strategies, business plans, KPIs, and growth initiatives.

💼 Advisory & Financial Services

✅ Oversee outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and finance support services.

✅ Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

✅ Review client deliverables and maintain high-quality professional service standards.

🏢 Corporate Advisory & Business Support

✅ Advise clients on business setup, licensing, company incorporation, and regulatory compliance.

✅ Manage company registration and corporate restructuring assignments.

✅ Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory agencies when required.

⚖️ Insolvency & Business Recovery

✅ Lead insolvency, restructuring, liquidation, and business recovery engagements.

✅ Provide strategic advisory services to businesses facing operational or financial challenges.

✅ Develop practical solutions that support long-term business sustainability.

🤝 Business Development & Client Management

✅ Build strong relationships with SMEs, family businesses, investors, corporates, and professional partners.

✅ Identify new business opportunities and expand the firm's advisory service portfolio.

✅ Prepare proposals, presentations, and participate in client pitches and negotiations.

📊 Project & Team Management

✅ Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.

✅ Monitor project budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables.

Minimum Requirements

🎓 Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

🏆 Professional Qualifications

One or more of the following professional certifications is highly preferred:

• ACCA
• CPA
• CMA
• CA
• ACA
• Equivalent internationally recognized accounting qualification

💼 Experience

• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing advisory or consulting teams.
