Hamad International Airport (HIA) is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment activities across multiple business functions in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for recruitment professionals who have hands-on experience managing the full hiring lifecycle, sourcing top talent, and partnering with hiring managers to meet workforce requirements.
The successful candidate will develop recruitment strategies, manage end-to-end hiring processes, and ensure a seamless candidate experience while supporting the organization's talent acquisition goals.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work closely with department managers to understand hiring needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions. You will be responsible for sourcing candidates, managing recruitment campaigns, conducting interviews, coordinating assessments, negotiating offers, and supporting recruitment projects across various departments.
This role also involves supervising a small support team, managing agency relationships, and contributing to continuous improvements within the recruitment function.
✅ Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job requisition to candidate onboarding.
✅ Develop proactive recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent.
✅ Source candidates through databases, job portals, social media, and recruitment campaigns.
✅ Prepare engaging job advertisements and promote vacancies across relevant platforms.
✅ Screen applications and shortlist candidates based on role requirements.
✅ Conduct telephone screenings and competency-based interviews.
✅ Coordinate interviews, assessment centres, and recruitment activities with hiring managers.
✅ Perform reference checks and support employment offer negotiations.
✅ Partner with department managers to understand workforce planning and recruitment needs.
✅ Provide professional recruitment advice and market insights.
✅ Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies when required.
✅ Support large-scale hiring campaigns and special recruitment projects.
✅ Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and best practices.
✅ Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate documentation.
✅ Monitor recruitment progress and provide regular hiring updates to stakeholders.
✅ Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Talent Acquisition team.
