About This Role

As a CNC Operator, you will prepare, operate, and monitor CNC machines to manufacture products according to engineering drawings and production specifications. You will work closely with design and production teams to ensure accurate machining, optimize material usage, and maintain high-quality standards.

The position also involves reviewing technical drawings, preparing machining files, troubleshooting machine issues, and ensuring production deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

CNC Machine Operations

• ✅ Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirements.
• ✅ Prepare machining programs and production files.
• ✅ Monitor machine performance throughout production.
• ✅ Ensure finished products meet quality specifications.

Technical Design & Programming

• ✅ Interpret engineering drawings and technical designs.
• ✅ Use AutoCAD to review production drawings.
• ✅ Work with BiesseWorks for CNC programming.
• ✅ Prepare machining files using ArtCAM and Rhino 3D where required.

Production Support

• ✅ Optimize material usage using CutList Optimizer.
• ✅ Coordinate with production and design teams.
• ✅ Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime.
• ✅ Maintain production quality and efficiency.

Quality & Safety

• ✅ Perform routine machine inspections.
• ✅ Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• ✅ Maintain clean and organized workstations.
• ✅ Report equipment issues promptly.

Minimum Requirements

🎓 Education

• Technical Diploma, Vocational Training, or equivalent practical experience in CNC machining or manufacturing.

💼 Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC machines (preferred).

Candidates should have experience with one or more of the following:
