Job Description/Specification:
Join Talabat Qatar as a Category Manager – Non Food and lead the growth of tMart, Talabat's cloud grocery store. You'll manage product assortment, pricing, supplier partnerships, and promotions while driving category performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Manage category assortment, pricing, promotions, and supplier relationships.
✅ Monitor sales, gross margin, profitability, and category performance.
✅ Negotiate with local suppliers to secure competitive pricing and terms.
✅ Develop promotional campaigns and annual category calendars.
✅ Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and price audits.
✅ Collaborate with Operations and regional teams to optimize inventory and product availability.
Requirements
🎓 Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related field.
💼 Minimum 5 years of experience in category management, buying, merchandising, or FMCG retail.
🛠️ Strong analytical, negotiation, supplier management, and pricing strategy skills. Experience with Excel and retail analytics tools is preferred.
🌍 Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
