Job Description/Specification:
🚀 Lead the commercial execution of aircraft Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) programs while managing customer relationships, contract performance, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for aviation professionals with strong MRO, maintenance planning, and commercial management experience.
💼 Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead the commercial execution of third-party MRO contracts and maintenance programs.
✅ Manage heavy maintenance checks, component repairs, modifications, and technical support activities.
✅ Monitor contract performance, turnaround times (TAT), SLAs, milestones, and customer commitments.
✅ Evaluate additional work requests, defect hours, variation orders, and their commercial impact.
✅ Conduct capability and capacity assessments for new maintenance opportunities.
✅ Collaborate with Engineering, CAMO, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams.
✅ Act as the primary commercial contact for airline customers throughout maintenance events.
✅ Track maintenance costs, profitability, revenue opportunities, and commercial performance.
✅ Prepare business cases, commercial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
✅ Lead, mentor, and develop team members while promoting operational and commercial excellence.
🎓 Requirements
🎓 Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or Diploma/High School with relevant experience).
💼 Minimum 6 years of experience in MRO, airline maintenance, aviation commercial operations, or maintenance contract management.
✈️ Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance workflows, planning, and MRO contract structures.
🤝 Experience managing airline customers and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
📊 Strong commercial, financial, and analytical skills with experience monitoring maintenance costs and profitability.
👥 Proven leadership, coaching, and team management experience.
🗣️ Excellent English communication skills.
💻 Experience with AMOS Maintenance & Engineering Software is an advantage.
📈 Salesforce CRM experience is an added advantage.
