Job Description/Specification:
🚀 Lead critical fuels operations in a high-performance defense environment, ensuring mission readiness, compliance, and operational excellence across all site fuel systems. This role is ideal for experienced supervisors with strong fuels operations and maintenance leadership background.
💼 Key Responsibilities
✅ Provide leadership and supervision for all fuels personnel and daily operations.
✅ Assign work priorities and coordinate fuels support activities across functional teams.
✅ Ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS), USAF standards, and ISO 9001 QMS.
✅ Monitor fuels asset status, inspections, inventory, storage, and reconstitution planning.
✅ Review and validate technical inspections, functional checks, and shipping readiness.
✅ Submit operational reports including inspections, maintenance data, and man-hour tracking.
✅ Identify asset deficiencies and raise Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs).
✅ Participate in corrective and preventive action processes for audit findings.
✅ Ensure accurate timesheets, overtime approvals, and workforce accountability.
✅ Oversee fuels training programs and ensure compliance with required certifications.
✅ Manage bulk fuel usage for generators and vehicle operations.
✅ Review and approve monthly fuel receipts and documentation accuracy.
✅ Ensure parts, materials, and supply requirements are tracked and delivered on time.
✅ Perform additional duties and support TDY assignments as required.
🎓 Requirements
🎓 High school diploma or equivalent required.
💼 Minimum 5 years of USAF or equivalent military fuels supervisory experience.
🛠️ Strong knowledge of fuels operations, maintenance, and logistics systems.
💻 Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general IT systems.
🪪 Ability to obtain and maintain Secret US Government Clearance (US citizenship required).
🚗 Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation license.
💪 Physically capable of handling heavy operational duties and PPE requirements.
🌍 Preferred Qualifications
⭐ 10 years’ supervisory experience in fuels operations (preferred).
⭐ Experience managing diverse international workforce.
⭐ Refueling maintenance experience.
⭐ Completion of USAF Fuels Apprentice or FORCE certification courses.
