Are you an experienced fleet management professional with a strong background in military or government vehicle operations? We are looking for a Vehicle Functional Manager to oversee fleet readiness, maintenance compliance, and operational performance. In this leadership role, you will act as the primary liaison between the customer and operations team, ensuring vehicle assets are maintained to the highest standards while driving continuous process improvement.

- Manage the overall operational readiness and maintenance of program vehicle assets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the customer and internal operations team.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and maintenance procedures.
- Review technical inspection reports and coordinate depot-level repair activities.
- Monitor maintenance programs, technical directives, and fleet compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement vehicle operating procedures, work instructions, and training plans.
- Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and management briefings.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance fleet performance and operational efficiency.
- Support deployment activities, workforce planning, and daily fleet operations.
🎯 Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (technical qualifications are an advantage).
- Minimum 10 years of vehicle management experience, preferably within military or Air Force operations.
- At least 4 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of military vehicle maintenance, fleet operations, technical inspections, and contract compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a host nation driver's license.
- Experience with DPAS and USAF vehicle management systems is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
