Job Description/Specification:
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for driving transformation? We are seeking an Innovation Expert to join the Planning, Quality & Innovation Department at the Ministry of Municipality in Qatar.
In this high-impact role, you will lead the development and execution of innovation strategies, foster a culture of creativity, and oversee the transformation of groundbreaking ideas into viable, scalable prototypes. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and project managers to shape the future of ministry operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Innovation Strategy: Develop and execute ministry-wide innovation strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Foster Creative Culture: Facilitate ideation workshops and brainstorming sessions to cultivate an environment of experimentation.
- Manage Idea Pipeline: Supervise the evaluation and prioritization of employee-submitted ideas based on feasibility, strategic fit, and operational impact.
- Lead Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the development of concepts into viable prototypes, ensuring they meet technical specifications and market needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineers, designers, and business developers to streamline the innovation process.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record in innovation management, product development, or a closely related area.
- Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is required.
- Certifications in emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT) are highly preferred.
- Languages: Professional fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
- Core Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and creative problem-solving abilities.
