Job Description/Specification:
A leading offshore and commercial diving operations company is seeking an experienced Diving Equipment Technician to maintain, repair, and certify critical diving systems and life-support equipment in compliance with international safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Inspect, test, and service surface-supplied and scuba diving equipment
✅ Maintain compressors, gas systems, filtration units, and high-pressure systems
✅ Repair diver communication systems and hyperbaric life-support equipment
✅ Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment certification compliance
✅ Test breathing air quality (oxygen, CO, moisture levels)
✅ Maintain detailed inspection logs, reports, and equipment records
✅ Support mobilization and demobilization of diving systems for projects
✅ Ensure compliance with IMCA, ADCI, and offshore safety regulations
Requirements
🎓 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diving Technology, or related field
💼 Experience in commercial, offshore, or military diving equipment maintenance
🛠️ Strong knowledge of diving systems (Kirby Morgan, AGA, Poseidon, Apeks, etc.)
⚙️ Experience with high-pressure systems and air quality testing
📜 IMCA/ADCI Diving Equipment Technician certification preferred
🌍 Strong technical, troubleshooting, and safety compliance skills
