Job Description/Specification:
We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Operations Manager to support and oversee business operations across multiple divisions within the Oil & Gas sector. The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, support strategic initiatives, and ensure business objectives are achieved through strong leadership and effective resource management.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Oversee daily operations across multiple business divisions to ensure efficient performance
✅ Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports for senior management
✅ Identify operational improvements and implement cost-effective solutions
✅ Support resource planning, including manpower, equipment, facilities, and technology requirements
✅ Review tenders, contracts, and commercial agreements to support business objectives
✅ Evaluate new business opportunities and contribute to growth strategies
✅ Act on behalf of the Operations Manager when required and provide leadership across teams
Requirements
🎓 Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution
🎓 Postgraduate qualification in Management or Business Administration is an advantage
🛠️ Mandatory experience within the Oil & Gas industry
📊 Strong knowledge of operations management, business improvement, contract review, and tender evaluation
🌍 Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
