Job Description/Specification:
A leading organization in the digital infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the growth, profitability, and operational performance of its Data Centre Business Unit. This strategic leadership role will oversee large-scale hyperscale and colocation data centre projects across the MENA region.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop and execute business growth strategies for the data centre division
✅ Lead project delivery, operations, commercial performance, and client engagement
✅ Manage full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability
✅ Build relationships with investors, clients, contractors, technology partners, and government stakeholders
✅ Oversee major bids, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements
✅ Drive operational excellence, risk management, and workforce development initiatives
Requirements
🎓 Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or Master’s Degree preferred)
💼 Experience in data centres, digital infrastructure, engineering, or large-scale construction sectors
🛠️ Strong expertise in business leadership, P&L management, contract negotiations, and project delivery
🌍 Middle East experience highly preferred with knowledge of hyperscale and colocation data centre environments
👥 Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage executive-level stakeholder relationships
📊 Excellent strategic planning, commercial, communication, and decision-making skills
