Job Description/Specification:
A leading retail and home improvement company is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and distribution operations. The successful candidate will ensure efficient product flow, cost control, and high customer satisfaction across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution
✅ Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock
✅ Oversee warehouse activities, receiving, storage, and dispatch processes
✅ Coordinate transportation schedules, carrier management, and freight negotiations
✅ Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply issues
✅ Ensure compliance with logistics, customs, health, safety, and regulatory requirements
✅ Lead logistics teams, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
Requirements
🛠️ Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and supply chain operations
💻 Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and logistics software
📊 Excellent analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and reporting skills
🌍 Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
🚚 Experience managing large-scale logistics operations and cross-functional teams will be highly advantageous.
