Job Description/Specification:
A leading organization in Qatar is seeking an experienced Business Unit Director to lead its Paints & Coatings division. The successful candidate will drive business growth, profitability, market expansion, and operational excellence across retail, distribution, and project sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop and execute business growth strategies and annual objectives
✅ Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion
✅ Build relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, architects, and key stakeholders
✅ Identify and secure new projects, distributors, dealers, and business opportunities
✅ Oversee sales, operations, supply chain, and customer service functions
✅ Monitor budgets, KPIs, pricing strategies, and overall business performance
✅ Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
Requirements
📈 Minimum 8 years of senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility
🛠️ Strong expertise in business development, sales management, market expansion, and commercial operations
🤝 Established network within the construction, consulting, contracting, and building materials sectors
🌍 Mandatory GCC market experience with excellent leadership and negotiation skills
