Job Description/Specification:
A leading offshore oil and gas operation in Qatar is seeking an experienced Offshore Campaign & Shutdown Coordinator to manage the planning, preparation, and execution of maintenance campaigns and shutdown activities. The role is based offshore on a rotational schedule and plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Coordinate offshore campaigns and shutdown activities from planning through execution
✅ Manage work orders, schedules, and resource allocation to meet operational targets
✅ Monitor shutdown readiness and maintain detailed execution plans
✅ Coordinate with maintenance, production, engineering, logistics, and HSE teams
✅ Supervise contractor activities and ensure compliance with safety standards
✅ Provide progress reports, risk updates, and cost-conscious recommendations
✅ Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
Requirements
🎓 Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant Oil & Gas industry experience
💼 Strong experience in Campaign and Shutdown Management within Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refining, or production facilities
🛠️ Knowledge of SAP CMMS, Primavera P6, MS Project, maintenance planning, and shutdown execution methodologies
🌍 Excellent English communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
📍 Location: Offshore Qatar (28 days on / 28 days off rotation)
