Job Description/Specification:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Storeman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing store operations, receiving and issuing materials, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring proper storage and organization of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies
Issue materials based on approved requests
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of items
Coordinate with procurement and site teams for material requirements
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store area
Requirements
Diploma in a relevant field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Storeman or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of inventory management and storekeeping practices
Ability to maintain accurate records and attention to detail
Basic computer skills (MS Excel/Inventory systems) preferred
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
