The Store Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service. They ensure accurate billing, maintain cash handling procedures, and support smooth front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage payments accurately
Issue receipts, refunds, and change correctly
Handle POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently
Maintain accurate records of transactions
Ensure the cash counter area is clean and organized
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for order accuracy
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally
Balance cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
Follow company policies and hygiene standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in cashiering or customer service (restaurant experience preferred)
Basic math and computer skills
Familiarity with POS systems
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
Working Conditions:
Shift-based work (including weekends and holidays)
Preferred Skills:
